Behaviour Support Assistant - Wandsworth - Immediate start 

Permanent roles available £18,199 term time salary (£467 PAYE per week!)

Do you have a passion for SEND and would love to work with children and young people?

Are you an experienced SEND specialist who would like a new challenge?

I am seeking creative, bubbly and proactive Behaviour Support Assistants to join an inclusive and inspiring SEN school as soon as possible. This is an independent specialist day school for children and young people aged 7-19 years old who are unable to access mainstream education due to their additional needs. All students have an EHCP – High functioning ASD, SEMH and associated conditions and the setting is focused on behaviour with pupils who require mentoring, emotional regulation and nurturing.   

 

What to expect - Behaviour Support Assistant

  • Small class sizes with therapeutic support for every child
  • Friendly and Supportive Head Teacher and staff team
  • The school hours are 8:30-4pm (Mon-Fri)
  • Induction for new starters with a 6-week induction programme for those with limited/no experience
  • Excellent experience, training and progression for aspiring teachers and therapists

Who we are looking for - Behaviour Support Assistant

  • Experience of working with children and young people with high functioning Autism, SEMH, behavioural issues and related conditions.
  • Have a genuine desire to build a career around Special Educational Needs
  • Previous experience in both secondary and primary is a bonus!
  • Excel at building strong relationships with both staff and students is a must!
