BSL Hospital TA

About the School

The school is located in the heart of Wandsworth, South West London, and they are dedicated to providing holistic care and education for young individuals facing unique challenges.

As a BSL Hospital TA, you'll be at the forefront of guiding and nurturing young minds. Your role will involve providing invaluable educational support to students who are deaf and dealing with a spectrum of complex mental health needs, including anxiety, PTSD, trauma, eating disorders, personality disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, self-harming behaviours, and suicidal attempts.

Ideal BSL Hospital TA

  • A Psychology Graduate or equivalent with a genuine passion for transforming lives.
  • Minimum BSL Level 2 qualification - empowering effective communication with our hearing-impaired students.
  • Must have good knowledge and experience supporting children with complex mental health needs
  • A compassionate and empathetic nature to foster trust and build meaningful connections.
