At Parker Smith Inclusion I am working with a mainstream secondary school that is part of a larger trust and they are looking for a BSL Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child. This is a fantastic opportunity for a SEN Teaching Assistant with BSL to further develop their skills within a Secondary School setting, with progression routes available working alongside senior members of staff.
BSL Teaching Assistant role;
- BSL level 2 or above
- Experienced supporting young people who are deaf within a school environment or personal experience
- To be part of a fantastic school and team
- Being part of a wider school community with a commitment of signing
- Building strong and meaningful relationships
- Excellent experience and training for aspiring Teachers and of the deaf, SEN Teachers and Speech and language Therapists
