I am actively recruiting engaging and passionate Complex Needs Teaching Assistant for a service that provides education to children who are unable to attend mainstream school due to complex SEN needs. I am looking to recruit professional and committed Complex Needs Teaching Assistants.
The children you will support will have a variety of needs which can include significant complex SEN needs, many pupils have Speech, Language, and Communication Needs (SLCN) as a common area of need. You will receive full training throughout your employment as a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant but prior experience with children and personal care is essential.
Complex Needs Teaching Assistant requirements:
- Experience of working with primary school aged pupils
- Experience of supporting with emotional regulation and with positive behaviour/de-escalation strategies
- Positive role model to support communication with a sensitive, nurturing, and consistent approach
- Experience of working with young people with Autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties and learning difficulties
- Comfortable with personal care
- Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships
What you can expect as a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant:
- £90 - £95 per day PAYE paid weekly
- Excellent experience and training for aspiring Child Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Counsellors, SEND Teachers, and Social Workers
