I’m searching for a talented, passionate, and caring individuals to work as Early Years SEN Teaching Assistants in schools across East London and Essex. Our schools are on the lookout for courageous, dedicated, and caring Early Years SEN Teaching Assistants to provide support to young children with learning difficulties and special educational needs at an important point in their lives. With an emphasis on caring for young children so that they feel valued and safe as they move through their lives, this school wants its staff to feel just as valued and confident in their work! A friendly and supportive atmosphere makes our schools truly great places to progress professionally and personally.

This role would be an excellent fit for a psychology, education or social science graduate or someone enthusiastic about SEND and would like to pursue a career working with children.

 However, regardless of qualifications, if you are passionate about making a true difference in the lives of children with SEND and have the character to work confidently and proactively in a team environment, then this role could be for you.

The ideal candidate should be…

  • A caring, nurturing, and unique person
  • Comfortable working with non-verbal/pre-verbal children
  • Familiar with Cache Level 3, but this is not essential
  • Comfortable doing personal care of young children, which may include help with social welfare, care and health matters, including toileting, dressing, feeding, mobility etc.
  • Searching for a role with great transport links across the area
  • Looking for a competitive and fair wage – we don’t use umbrella companies, and all positions are PAYE
