About the role and YOU

This is a wonderful opportunity for those looking to start a long-term position and progress into a permanent role. You will be working with either primary or secondary aged students within a 1:1 or group setting. The desired Specialist Teaching Assistant will have a positive approach toward learning that will keep students engaged even when confronted with challenging material. It is the perfect opening for development as this position will offer you relevant and vital experience; granting you a step towards teaching, counselling, pastoral care, or any career path that interests you most. You must:

  • Be educated to degree level.
  • Ideally possess previous experience supporting children with autism or other special educational needs.
  • Have a strong passion for transforming the lives of young people.
  • Be able to effortlessly build rapport with children.
  • Be open to impacting students socially with high levels of need.
