HLTA / Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Barking and Dagenham

Are you interested in working in a developing area of East London supporting aspirational students?

I am actively seeking an engaging and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant / HLTA to work in a secondary school in Barking and Dagenham led by a team of professionals who believe in changing the lives of young people.

The school is based in a purpose built building and is a rapidly growing school offering continued development and opportunities for their staff.

This role would suit an experienced SEN LSA or a core subject graduate who can offer specific interventions.

HLTA / Higher Level Teaching Assistant requirements:

 ● Experience of working with young people with SEM, SEMH, Autism, behavioural issues, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication

● HLTA or Tutor experience - leading small groups

● SEN specialism or subject specialism 

 ● Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships

● A passion for working with young people with SEND

What you can expect as a HLTA - Higher Level Teaching Assistant 

● Excellent experience and training for aspiring Teachers

● To work with vulnerable students needing additional support

● Lead interventions in your subject or SEN specialism
