Are you a Higher Level Teaching Assistant who has a passion and talent for supporting children and young people who cannot access mainstream education due to their additional needs?

Are you keen to provide outstanding education and ensure students have life changing opportunities?

I am actively seeking an engaging and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work in a SEMH specialist setting that providing education to students who cannot attend mainstream school. I am looking to speak to professional and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistants with a background in PRU or SEMH settings. As the HLTA you will be working closely with the SENCO and also leading the SEMH Behaviour Mentors

HLTA / Higher Level Teaching Assistant requirements:

  • Experience of working with young people with SEMH, Autism, behavioural issues, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication

  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant or Tutor experience - leading small groups

  • Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships

  • A passion for working with young people with SEND
