Role: IT Teacher

When: ASAP Start

Where: Wandsworth, South West London

Pay: PAYE Daily Rate based on MPS 1-6 Inner London, £36,745 - £47,666

Is QTS required?: No, IT knowledge is essential, as well as a positive approach to Autism/SEMH

Why is this IT Teacher role required?

I am working with a SEND school for pupils with Autism and SEMH, based in South West London. The school is seeking an IT Teacher to join their teaching staff ASAP.

We are looking for enthusiastic and positive educators or HLTAs who understand the complexities of working with neurodiverse students and have the skills and abilities to positively impact learning in SEND settings.

The school is headed by a wonderfully inspiring Headteacher who supports and leads her dynamic and diverse staff team to enable them to be the best educators for the children who attend the school. They will consider teachers with or without QTS; as long as there is relevant experience with a positive approach to teaching neurodiverse children, you will be considered!

The children you will support will have various needs, including significant and complex behavioural challenges. If you are committed to making a difference in SEND and have a talent for working with children who have complex behavioural needs, we want to hear from you!

 

IT Teacher requirements:

  • Experience working with young people with SEMH, Autism, behavioural challenges, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication
  • IT Teacher
  • QTS/QTLS or significant IT teaching experience
  • Available to start ASAP
  • Ability to build solid and meaningful relationships and be a role model
  • A passion for working with SEND is essential
