We here at Parker Smith are currently working with a primary school in the London Borough of Havering who are looking for a confident and passionate Learning Support Assistant to work with children aged 4 - 11.
The school have a fantastic team who will be able to offer you great support! This is a brilliant opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant looking to utilise their skills and make a difference to the lives of young people.
You will need to be resilient, able to handle yourself, have experience with challenging behaviour, empathetic to the needs of the students and be someone who is looking for a career with SEND education.
The school is a mainstream school that cater to students who may require personal care and may exhibit some challenging behaviour.
Requirements:
- You will need experience working with ASD and challenging behaviour
- Team Teach or other form of restraint training is a big asset
- Ability to handle yourself and keep composure in testing situations
- Looking for a career and looking to stay long term and progress up the ranks
