Type of School: Specialist SEND School
Location: Mole Valley
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £28,000 - £48,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience)

Brand new school!
They will cater to students aged 7 - 14 but will be catering to ages 7 - 16 once at full capacity.
They will offer a pupil focussed, therapeutic approach to their students and place a family/school support approach, in order to have the right cross-support for their students. The therapy department and the teaching staff will be working together on a day to day basis.
These students will have faced many challenges throughout their education and may have been left to the side-lines. It's imperative that we have the right teachers in place to offer guidance and the right support for these young people. With the right teacher, the right environment, and the right support, that can all change.
This is where you come in…
A School Built to Inspire Change and to motivate.
This specialist school in Croydon is designed for children with Autism and SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs)—students who have found mainstream education overwhelming. Here, they receive the individualised support, structure, and nurturing environment they need to thrive.
Everything in this school has been carefully designed to foster confidence, curiosity, and progress—for students and staff alike.
As a English Teacher, you’ll benefit from:
Small class sizes, allowing you to focus on each student’s progress
Brand-new facilities with high-quality resources to bring learning to life
A team of therapists and support staff, ensuring you’re never alone in managing challenges
Specialist spaces including a multi-sports hall, therapy rooms, and dedicated learning zones, new PE resources and a grand football pitch
They also have plans to create a school farm on their site.
Outdoor learning opportunities, with access to a heated swimming pool and forest school
Teaching English in a Specialist Setting will mean you can work with the students to motivate them and inspire.
English lessons here aren’t about memorising formulas and racing through a syllabus—you’ll have the freedom to adapt your teaching to suit your students.
This might mean:
Using interactive resources and games to build confidence
Breaking concepts into manageable steps to reduce anxiety and their triggers
Using visual, practical, and hands-on methods to engage students
Success in this setting isn’t just about academic progress—it’s about building problem-solving skills, resilience, and self-belief. Whether it’s a student grasping multiplication for the first time, confidently tackling algebra, or simply overcoming their fear of numbers, every small win is a step towards lifelong achievement.
The school provides full SEN training from day one, equipping you with the skills and confidence to make a lasting impact.
A Leadership Team That Invests in You!
A supportive team makes all the difference in specialist education, and this school’s leadership is committed to helping teachers grow.
Whether you want to:
Refine your SEND expertise
Develop new teaching strategies
Progress into leadership
…there are ongoing training and career development opportunities to support you every step of the way.

SEND Teacher
Location: London Borough of Havering
Start Date: September 2024 (Permanent)
Salary: £36,000 - £54,000 + SEN Allowance
Some teaching roles give you little more than a timetable. Others give you purpose, support, and the resources to change lives.
This is one of those roles.
A highly respected SEN school in Havering is seeking a skilled and passionate SEN teacher to join their team on a permanent basis. If you feel your current role isn’t allowing you to teach in the way you know works best, this is your opportunity to step into a school where your expertise is valued, your voice is heard, and your work makes a tangible difference.
From the moment you step through the doors, you’ll notice the difference. SEN isn’t an afterthought here—it is embedded in the very fabric of the school. Purposefully designed spaces, specialist facilities, and a well-supported team mean you can focus on what you do best: teaching in a way that reaches every child.
The school supports students across both primary and secondary stages and post-16 learners who require specialised education. The post-16 provision focuses on preparing students for the next chapter in their lives, transitioning to adult services, further education, or independent living. This role will involve working with older students, guiding them through the development of functional life skills, enhancing communication, and promoting independence in a supportive, structured setting.
Leadership is proactive, present, and invested in both staff and students. You won’t be left to navigate challenges alone. Collaboration, professional development, and staff wellbeing are priorities, ensuring you feel supported at every step.
What You’ll Be Doing
Engaging and inspiring learners through high expectations and accessible, creative teaching methods.
Supporting post-16 students in developing life skills, independence, and confidence.
Helping students develop communication strategies and manage behaviours in a way that maximises learning.
Taking an analytical approach to tracking progress, ensuring every student has an individualised pathway to success.
Collaborating with a skilled team of teachers who share your passion for inclusive education and making a real impact.
Who This Role is For
A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience in SEN settings.
Someone who understands that behaviour is communication and can create engaging, structured learning experiences.
A teacher who is eager to support post-16 students as they develop functional life skills and prepare for life beyond school.
A professional with experience in working with students with complex needs, including Autism, and helping them develop communication and social skills.
What You’ll Find Here
Specialist SEN resources and facilities that allow you to teach without limitations.
A collaborative, experienced team that values professional growth and development.
Leadership that listens, supports, and invests in its staff.
Opportunities for career development and specialised training.
A calm, purposeful, and welcoming learning environment that encourages both personal and professional growth.
Access to a Teachers’ Pension Scheme, Employee Assistance Program, and staff wellbeing initiatives.
