We are currently seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs Learning Support Assistant (SEN LSA) to join our school's provision.
Position: SEN Learning Support Assistant
Location: Thurrock
Type: Temporary to Permanent
Salary: PAYE £80 - £95 per day
Hours: 8:15 AM - 4:00 PM (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)
Availability: Full-time, 5 days a week, term time only

Responsibilities:
- Provide support to students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, either on a 1:1 basis or in group/classroom settings.
- Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans and behavior management strategies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and achievement.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to meet the diverse needs of students.
Requirements:
- Personal and/or professional experience working with students with SEN, particularly ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
- Ability to adapt support strategies to meet the individual needs of students.
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
- Commitment to promoting inclusion and facilitating the academic and social development of students.
