Parker Smith Inclusion is delighted to partner with a Primary Complex Needs School seeking two dedicated Assistant Heads to join their team. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity starting in September 2024, working 5 days a week during term time only.

Role Overview:

Position: Assistant Head
Start Date: September 2024
Contract: Temp-to-Perm
Working Days: 5 days a week, term time only
Pay: UPS 3 with TLR and SEN point
Teaching Commitment: Minimum 50%

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching for at least 50% of your time
  • Lead on safeguarding within the school, ensuring all policies and practices are up to date and effective
  • Develop and enhance the school’s curriculum to meet the diverse needs of the students
  • Mentor and support teaching staff, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment

 

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within an educational setting
  • Strong background in working with students with complex needs
  • Excellent teaching and classroom management skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Ability to inspire and mentor staff
