Are you familiar with the primary curriculum and have experience teaching children with SEMH needs?

Are you looking for a long term role in a PRU teaching primary students with SEMH?

About the Pupil Referral Unit 

The school is based in Central London, very accessible from most areas of London. The school benefits from a purpose built new building with great outdoor space and sports facilities. This Pupil Referral Unit / PRU caters for primary and secondary students who are unable to access mainstream education. The students may attend the school on both short and long term placements. 

What you can expect as a HLTA / Unqualified Primary Teacher in this PRU

Teachers and support staff at this school are responsible for a high standard or planning, teaching, assessment and behaviour management for the schools students. You will facilitate learning through your engaging and differentiated lessons. You can expect to work as part of a larger teaching team who are extremely supportive. 

HLTA / Unqualified Primary Teacher requirements 

  • Teaching experience - groups/1:1
  • A range of experience delivering the primary curriculum
  • SEMH experience
