Parker Smith Inclusion is currently working closely with a SEND school based in the London Borough of Wandsworth who are looking for a primary teacher to join their team. The school primarily supports students with social, emotional and mental health needs who are between the ages of 5 to 19 years old.
The ideal candidate will be an exceptional Primary teacher who is able to work with learners in both key stage 1 and key stage 2 as well as other learners across the school. This is opportunity is not only open to a primary trained teacher but also to a teacher who is experienced in special educational needs and is confident in supporting learners with additional needs.
The successful candidate must:
- Have successfully completed teacher training
- Experience supporting students with special educational needs or additional needs
- Knowledge and experience of the KS1 & KS2 curriculum
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Knowledge of how to best support students with SEMH/students on the autism spectrum
