Do you have a passion and talent for supporting children and young people who cannot access mainstream education due to their social, emotional and mental health needs?

We are working with a fantastic school in the London Borough of Greenwich who are actively seeking engaging and passionate Behaviour Mentors to work in a SEMH specialist school that provides education to children who are unable to be educated in a mainstream school due to behaviour difficulties.

You will be working to support a pupil who needs significant support with Social Emotional Mental Health - experienced Behaviour Mentors would be highly valued for this role. 

This role requires a strong and resilient person who would be an excellent role model.

PRU Behaviour Mentor Requirements:

  • Experience of working with young people with SEMH, Autism, behavioural issues, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication
  • Experience with challenging behaviour – this role would really suit someone who has worked in a PRU or SEMH school, has work as a Pastoral Officer in a school, or has experience with challenging behaviour as a Youth Worker.
  • Behaviour Mentor/ Youth Worker experience
  • Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships
  • A passion for working with SEND is essential
