Role: Teaching Assistant/Cover Supervisor – to lead/cover classes 

Location: Goodmayes 

Type of School: Mainstream primary 

Salary: £100 - £110 PAYE 

Start: ASAP 

I am looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant/Cover Supervisor with a specialism in SEND who can take on the rewarding challenge of leading whole classes in the teacher’s absence, and who can run group work/interventions with students who may require additional support. 

This role is within a brilliant primary school in the heart of Ilford. 

As a Teaching Assistant, you should expect to work with various SEND such as autism, ADHD, speech and language, sensory needs, visual impairments, dysregulated behaviour and associated needs. 

Requirements of the Teaching Assistant/Cover Supervisor 

· Relevant experience teaching primary-aged classes in the absence of the class teacher 

· Ability to work well with all year groups and adapt to fast-paced changes 

· Experience working with various SEND 

· Strong knowledge of safeguarding practices within schools 

· Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
