Full time - Term Time only - School Based Residential Care Worker 

Monday- 2:30pm-8:30pm

Tues - 07:30am- 09:30am split 2:30pm-8:30pm

Wed&thurs as above

Fri 07:30 - 3pm

Here at Parker Smith Inclusion, I work with a fantastic school for children who all have educational statements and need your help to encourage and support them to achieve their full potential. This school is a residential setting and has just been taken over by a well-regarded Trust. They are looking for a School Based Residential Care Worker to join their team of fantastic staff who work together to create a family feel; with their small class sizes and shared mealtimes, I know you will agree with us that they are exceeding expectations, and the school does feel like a family.

• Working with individual students to develop their social, emotional and behavioural skills 

• Being responsible for the safety of the children, making sure they have a secure but stimulating setting where they can be involved in not only education but also leisure activities  

• Counsel the students in personal and social skills, including health, hygiene, domestic protocol and relationships - School Based Residential Care Worker 

• Accompany children to various required visits such as Doctors, Shopping trips, Dentist etc - School Based Residential Care Worker 

• Observe the students and write reports to notify any required information - School Based Residential Care Worker 

A School Based Residential Care Worker will be responsible for the immediate care and welfare of the children; the chosen person should be empathetic to all students and have a nurturing nature. You will be one of the children’s most influential people in this setting, so the right candidate is essential.
