Are you a strong and resilient person looking for a challenging and rewarding role in a fantastic secondary school for children with SEMH needs?
Do you have experience helping children with challenging behaviour needs feel calmer and more settled in a school or youth work environment?
I am now working with a fantastic Mainstream Secondary School in the London Borough of Greenwich who are seeking School Behaviour Officers.
You will be working with pupils who needs support with challenging behaviour, and help feeling as calm and settled as possible so they are able to learn effectively.
This role requires a strong and resilient person who would be a strong role model.
Requirements of a School Behaviour Officer
- Experience with challenging behaviour – this role would really suit someone who has worked in a PRU or SEMH school, has work as a Pastoral Officer in a school, or has experience with challenging behaviour as a Youth Worker.
- Experience working to support pupils with physically and emotionally challenging behaviour.
- A resilient personality and an ability to build rapport quickly with staff and students.
- An interest in mental health and seeing behaviour as a form of communication is essential for this role.
