- Location: Carshalton, Sutton
- Salary: £160 - £220 per day PAYE (dependent on experience/pay scale)
- Hours: 40 Hours per week, 8:30am - 16:30pm Term Time Only
Based in Carshalton, this specialist school for a special provision working to support 80 pupils aged 5-16, with SEMH difficulties are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Science Teacher to join their team.
Job Summary:
- Providing teaching support within the framework of the National Curriculum, GCSE’s and Functional Skills.
- Committed to providing the students with the very best chance in education.
- Able to work in a dynamic environment with a committed and flexible approach.
- Confident working with pupils with autism and behavioural difficulties.
- Preparing, planning and assessing teaching sessions
- Able to create a safe and stimulating environment for all students
Key Skills Required:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous experience as a science teacher delivery and planning lessons
- Confident in supporting students with autism and challenging behaviour
- Able to build meaningful and positive relationships with the students
