About the school
I am actively seeking x5 SEMH Learning Support Assistants to work in a SEMH Specialist Academy that provides education to children who are unable to be educated in a mainstream school due to behaviour difficulties. I am looking to speak to professional and committed Learning Support Assistants to work in the Colchester area. The role requires individuals to work with young adults in the secondary department supporting behaviour and learning in class settings.

What to expect - SEMH Learning Support Assistant
- Working with male students aged 10-16 years of age
- Supporting them using behaviour management techniques, nurture and therapy support
- To work in a fantastic school in a brand new fit for purpose building

- Excellent experience and training for aspiring Teachers, Pastoral workers, Child Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Counsellors, and Social Workers
The ideal candidate - SEMH Learning Support Assistant
- Experience of working with young people with SEMH, Autism, Behavioural issues, Trauma, Sensory processing, Social communication
- The ability to work independently and with your own initiative is key for this role
- A strong sense of behaviour management
- Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships
