SEMH TA  – Immediate start - PAYE

Do you want to make a difference in the lives of children and young people who have additional learning needs and mental health disorders?

Are you able to deal with challenging behaviour?

I am currently closely working with an excellent school based in Greenwich that is looking for a passionate Behaviour Mentor in SEMH to start immediately. At this school, they specialise in SEMH, ASD/ADHD, offering a safe, stimulating, and safe environment for every pupil. I am looking to find a candidate who has a true passion for working within this sector and wants to make a huge difference in children’s lives.

Behaviour Mentor requirements

  • Essential - A real passion for SEMH/SEND.
  • Beneficial - Experience of working with Autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties and learning difficulties, or experience with SEMH, trauma, social communication
  • Essential - Able to build strong meaningful relationships with the students.
  • Essential - Able to deal with challenging behaviour.

  • Suitable role for aspiring Pastoral Workers, Teachers, Child Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, SALTs, Counsellors, and Social Workers, these positions will offer a relevant and vital experience for your chosen career path.
  • As a Behaviour Mentor, you will be able to have a positive impact on some of the most vulnerable children's lives.
  • You will be able to build; further your experience within SEMH/SEND.
  • You will be expected to work professionally and calmly in challenging situations.
