I am now working with a really wonderful school in the London Borough of Greenwich, who truly believe that children with Social Emotional Mental Health needs deserve the very best school experience possible.

They are now seeking proactive and enthusiastic SEMH Teaching Assistants to join their brilliant and highly supportive team.

What to Expect as an SEMH Teaching Assistant?

· Training opportunities available, with a supportive Senior Leadership Team

· The opportunity to gain valuable experience working to support children with SEMH needs

· An opportunity to work as part of a team who prioritise the mental health needs of all pupils

· £85 per day PAYE paid weekly

Requirements of an SEMH Teaching Assistant:

· A caring a resilient person who is able to bring a positive and enthusiastic energy into the classroom

· Experience working to support SEN children within a school or youth club environment would be highly valued for this role

· A strong interest or qualification in psychology or childcare would be highly valued for this role

· Above all, successful applicants must have a strong drive to help and support children with challenging behaviour and social emotional mental health needs.
