Parker Smith Inclusion are working with a primary school in Hounslow are seeking bubbly, engaging, and energetic SEN teaching assistants to join them on a long term/permanent basis.
The school are very keen on individuals who want to make a difference to SEN children’s lives whilst also bringing along their own initiative and energy to the classroom!
What to expect working as an SEN Food Technology Teaching Assistant?
- As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working in small classrooms providing personal care for children with complex need.
- This role would be a great fit for someone who has real passion and enthusiasm for SEND and would like to pursue a career working with children
- A long-term contract, working for the whole academic year with the prospects of becoming a permanent member of staff
- The ability to work in a highly supported staff team within a fantastic school
- Gain the opportunity to make a huge difference to the social and emotional development of SEN children as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant
Requirements for an SEN Teaching Assistant
- Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant however this is not essential as the children doesn’t have complex needs
- Experience with food technology and able to assist students within a food environment
- Proactive and positive about making a difference to children’ development and wellbeing
- Excel at building relationships with both students and staff
- Live within commutable distance of Hounslow
Pay
Long-term contracts are available for those who are looking for immediate work. We understand that pay is extremely important, and it must be clear and simple! For that reason, we have chosen to pay our staff via PAYE only. Quoted rates are gross pay and your pay will never involve employer's NI deductions or admin fees
Just as roles vary, so will the remuneration, depending on the role requirements and your experience. You will often see these roles advertised as daily rates, please note that we pay PAYE only, please bear in mind that all school-based work will be term time only
