I am looking for Band 7 or highly experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist for my Special School based in London Borough of Hackney.  This School is all through 2-19 with a nursery and creche on site supporting children with complex needs, PMLD, physical disabilities, autism, SLD & MLD.

They are offering an opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join their supportive therapy team and have supervision duties for a Band 5 OT helping them develop their skills and supporting them through their assessments, this is a permanent opportunity to work in a supportive, structured environment with SALTs, Education Psychologists and other OTs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conducting assessments and developing individualised treatment plans for all aged children with PMLD, SLD & MLD needs. 
  • Providing direct therapy interventions to support children's motor skills, sensory processing, and self-regulation
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the curriculum and daily routines
  • Monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives to promote inclusion and well-being
