Do you have experience working with pupils who have an EHCP that require 1:1 learning support?

Are you keen to make a difference to the lives of children and young people whilst building your experience and furthering your career in SEND/SEMH?

I am seeking a passionate and engaging SEN Sports Assistant / Teaching Assistant who wants to provide meaningful and essential support to vulnerable children who require it most!

The amazing school we are working with are looking for a Teaching Assistant with a love for all sports and would feel comfortable delivering exciting sessions for children with SEN

SEN Sports Assistant / Teaching Assistant Requirements

  • Experience of working with children/young people with Autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties and learning difficulties, speech and communication difficulties or experience with SEMH, Trauma, Sensory processing, mental health issues
  • Learning Support / Teaching Assistant experience
  • Sports coaching experience / Genuine passion for sport
  • Ability to be nurturing and caring
  • Proactive, flexible and willing approach
  • Ability to build rapport with disengaged students
  • Patience and understanding of the difficulties surrounding children’s return to school
