The SEN Teacher role…

I am seeking a passionate SEN Teacher or Primary Teacher with a love for SEN to take on a new role in a mainstream secondary school in Romford. The school have a strong SEN department that supports students with a range of SEN, including Autism.

I’m looking for someone with a strong teaching skill set that have a good history of supporting students with various needs.

 

The successful SEN Teacher should be…

The successful SEN Teacher should be patient, have a good understanding of de escalation techniques and have good strategies to regulate behaviour. You should be a team player and also have experience in supporting a team of Teaching Assistants.

 

Requirements

  • The passion to teach and inspire young people during a crucial stage of their personal and academic development.
  • QTS or QTLS
  • Experience working with students who have additional needs either in mainstream or SEND settings 
  • A nurturing, patient, empathetic and holistic approach
