Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with autism and severe learning difficulties?

We are working with a specialist school in East London who are recruiting a SLD Teacher to start this September. This site is fully equipped to support students with Severe Learning Difficulties, including sensory impairments and medical conditions. There are specialist spaces and equipment, including a food technology classroom, sensory room and soft Play Area. Operating as a part of a trust that functions across East London, this special school boasts incredible development and training opportunities with a focus on staff retention and supporting talent.

 

The ideal SEN Teacher may be…

  • Adaptable and flexible in their approach
  • QTS/QTLS preferred - but we also welcome applications from experienced Unqualified Teachers!!
  • Experienced working with students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties.
  • Confident with new classes and working with a range of pupil needs.
  • Fun and engaging – able to take lesson plans and give them life!
  • Looking for a variable, interesting and unique role
  • Open to progression, development, and training opportunities
