We here at Parker Smith Inclusion are working with a wonderful, three form entry Mainstream Primary School in the London Borough of Waltham Forest that are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their fantastic team of supportive and nurturing staff. Their vision is all about providing the best for their pupils, parents and staff. They make sure their team are excellent role models, they aim to help develop their students into people who care deeply about each other and who have a curiosity and passion for lifelong learning. Working as a SEN Teaching Assistant is such a rewarding opportunity and you will go home and know you have made a difference, what an amazing end to your day! Experience working with SEN is always brilliant but equally the passion to work with SEN and the determination to learn can be enough.

 

Working as a SEN Teaching Assistant would suit somebody-

  • Who not only delivers the job requirements but somebody who is kind, patient and who is willing to go the extra mile  
  • That is a nurturing person who makes sure all students feel important and listened to
  • Who wishes to help build children and young adults confidence to become independent and valued members of society
  • Able to work with smaller groups or individuals. This could be by managing behaviour in class, helping them to develop their communication skills with peers or planning activities in line with class  lessons that could be easier for them to understand.
  • That is flexible as every day can be different
