Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people with Autism?
We are working with a few ‘Outstanding’ special needs schools that is based in Barnet. We are looking for dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join the schools within the Barnet area. The schools cater to students ages 5- 19 years that have special educational needs so previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant would be helpful for the role. It is also essential you are comfortable with personal care as part of the role will be supporting this.
Key Responsibilities.
- Provide 1:1 support to students with Autism, ADHD, SEMH.
- Supporting students with personal care needs
- Support students in mobility, self-care and other activities to promote independence
- To work as part of a team to support class sizes of no more than 9 pupils.
Qualifications.
- Previous experience working with students with special educational needs
- Compassion, patience and a genuine interested in the well-being of students
