About the school
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, dedicated and caring individual to actively contribute towards the education and personal development of autistic children aged 4 to 19. The students at this school have a primary diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC). The school focuses on developing independence and self-advocacy, improved behaviour, communication and social interaction. They also provide further support by working with parents to provide their students with the best education experience possible.
The ideal applicant will have:
- A real passion for SEN.
- A robust, resilient and positive attitude.
- Some experience with ASC and challenging behaviour is preferable, but training can be provided.
- Applicants with hobbies, a sporting or arts & crafts background are a bonus!
