The ideal ASC Teaching Assistant

  • Experience isn’t essential, but a passion for SEN and education is crucial
  • As an ASC Teaching Assistant, the ability to form close relationships is a must
  • Must hold the desire to transform the pathways of students
  • Every day is different, as an ASC Teaching Assistant you must be resilient, flexible and adaptable
  • As an ASC Teaching Assistant, you will act as a role model and mentor, therefore it is vital that you have good reading, writing, numeracy and communication skills.
