A popular and reputable SEN primary school located in East London are actively searching for a passionate and organised individual to join their team as a SEN teaching assistant. The role involves providing caring and inspiring support for young children with autism and speech, language, and sensory disabilities to help them achieve their full potential. This position will involve personal care of young children.
As well as providing excellent support for children with SEND, this East London SEN primary school offers brilliant staff training opportunities within a supportive team environment. A buddy/mentor system is provided for new starters alongside a full team of permanent speech and language therapists and occupational therapists on site.
An ideal candidate should be/have…
- Passionate about providing high quality care and support to young children and dedicated to helping them fulfill their potential
- Experience working with children with SEND or other relevant experience, paid or otherwise!
This SEN Teaching Assistant role would be an excellent fit for a psychology, education or social science graduate or someone enthusiastic about SEND and would like to pursue a career working with children.
