I am keen to speak with anyone with experience working with children and young people diagnosed with autism and other additional needs.

This position would be well suited to anyone from a care background or a support work background; this school caters for children with a wide range of learning difficulties. There are pupils with very complex medical needs and those with Mild - Moderate SEND, so this position is best suited to someone flexible with the needs they support and the age groups they work with.

We are looking to speak too enthusiastic, nurturing and skilled Special Needs Support Workers to join an excellent SEND school in Hertfordshire. We are working in partnership with this beautiful SEND school; they have beautiful facilities and a fantastic support team to work alongside; they require hard-working and determined people to join their team! Working with children with SEND is challenging, but the rewards are immeasurable.

Ideally, the right fit for this role will of had experience working with SEND previously; Autism experience is preferred alongside knowledge of PMLD and other complex needs. A large majority of SEND schools are "all - through" meaning they can range from early years right up to sixth form. Flexibility and a can-do attitude is essential!

We are open to hearing from anyone with a youth work background and anyone who has graduated with a degree in Psychology, Criminology, or anything education based!
