About Us

Parker Smith Inclusion is an ethical SEN specialist consultancy committed to promoting inclusive education. We are thrilled to announce an exciting position for an experienced Sociology and Psychology HLTA to join a wonderful SEN school in Wandsworth, South West London.

 

The Position

  • Sociology and Psychology HLTA
  • Full-Time: Monday to Friday
  • Term-Time Only
  • Working hours of 8:30am - 4:30pm
  • Wandsworth, South West London
  • Competitive Daily Rate via Pay As You Earn (PAYE): £120 - £170 depending on experience and qualification

 

Our school is not just a school; it's a place where they empower young minds. The school provides creative and therapeutic education for children aged 11 to 19 with high-functioning Autism and associated learning difficulties. Many of the students also experience Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. As part of their teaching team, you'll have the opportunity to impact these exceptional individuals' lives profoundly.

 

As a Sociology and Psychology HLTA at this school, you will

  • Develop and adapt your teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of our students

Requirements - Qualifications

  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant / HLTA
  • Experience teaching Psychology and Sociology
  • Experience working with SEN students is an advantage, particularly with Autism/ASC, SEMH, and behavioural challenges

 

We value your expertise and dedication. This position's daily rate will align with a range between £22,000 and £30,000. All our rates are paid via Pay As You Earn (PAYE).
