Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT)

We are recruiting a qualified Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT) to join a well established ofted rated outstanding SEND school based in the London borough of Ealing . You will be working directly with pupils aged 4 - 22 all with a diagnosis of ASD, challenging behaviours and other complex needs, The school provides personalised and holistic education to children and young people diagnosed with Autism/ASC. They have an in-house therapy team, and you will have fantastic CPD and training opportunities!

Ideal Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT):

  • Must be HCPC registered
  • Has a degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent
  • Has experience working with children and young people with special needs, particularly with Autism/ASC and Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)
  • Has personal interests in supporting children and young people with special needs
  • A positive, proactive, and patient individual who can build good working relationships with children, teachers, parents, and carers
  • A team player and has great communication skills

Speech and Language Therapist's Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing both individual and group speech and language therapy services to children
  • Attending and contributing to staff meetings and Annual Review meetings
  • Working closely with the rest of the multidisciplinary team, as well as teachers and support staff
  • Providing a creative and nurturing learning environment where children can reach their potential
  • Being fully aware of the school policy and implementing Health and Safety Regulations, including Risk Assessment
