Aspiring SaLT - Speech and Language Therapy Assistant, Fulham, North West London

- Salary: £90 - £95
- Contract: Perm/Temp to Perm
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 – 15:15, 30 hours per week
The ideal Speech and Language Therapy Assistant
- Passion for working with young people who require additional support in order to access education and social development
- Ideally previous experience (formal or informal) supporting children with autism or other special educational needs
- Ideally should have experience working with speech and language previously, experience using PECs and Makaton
- A proactive and positive individual who is always striving to meet children's learning needs.
- Ability to build rapport with children
What you can expect as a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant
- Your role as a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant will be to support a child with special educational needs; however the role will vary from day to day; you will be expected to use your initiative and respond calmly in challenging situations
