We here at Parker Smith are working with a wonderful Mainstream Secondary School in the London Borough of Havering who are seeking a Teaching Assistant to help support their students with their learning. You will be working as a general class Teaching Assistant but also supporting the students with Speech and Language needs. The school has wonderful facilities such as a fantastic Sports Centre with Swimming Pool, dedicated SEND area and they offer brilliant extra curricular activities within Dance, Drama and Music.
A successful Teaching Assistant-
- Will provide support to small group or individuals
- Can develop positive relationships
- Be encouraging students in the social and academic processes of the school
- Will assist students to become more independent learners
- Can help Teachers prepare teaching and learning materials for students
- Support the Teachers in managing of the whole class
- Will collaborate and provide feedback to the SENCO
