Complex Needs Teaching Assistant
Location: London Borough of Havering
£80-90 Per Day (PAYE)

At Parker Smith Inclusion, we are currently partnering with a fantastic SEN school in the London Borough of Havering. They are looking to add a dedicated Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to their team. This small, close-knit school supports students aged 4-19 and prides itself on fostering a warm, welcoming environment. They are committed to the well-being of both students and staff, providing exceptional support.
As a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work with students both in and outside the classroom, acting as an encouraging and inspiring role model. The role may involve managing some challenging behaviours, so we are looking for individuals who are resilient, compassionate, and patient. Additionally, this role includes assisting with personal care, such as toileting and changing, for students who may require it.
What we’re looking for in a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience working with young people
- Experience in personal care is essential
- A caring, compassionate, and empathetic approach
- Ability to build strong, meaningful relationships with students
