The role
I am looking for an enthusiastic EAL TA to join a lovely mainstream secondary school based in Barking. The school require an excellent Teaching Assistant to work in their SEN department and encourage pupils to achieve the best that they can! If you have any prior experience within EAL, we’d love to hear from you! This is a great opportunity for someone looking to utilise their skills and make a difference to the lives of young people. The school building is brand new and offers fantastic facilities that will help you to support the students!
The ideal candidate
The ideal Teaching Assistant should be focused and determined to encourage pupils to reach their full potential. You should have prior experience in EAL and feel confident in your abilities. The teaching assistant should also be warm, friendly and able to form good relationships with children as well as having a genuine passion for the job. As a successful Teaching Assistant, you should be a positive role model for all and always be promoting good behaviour. The ideal teaching assistant will have a can-do attitude and always be looking for learning opportunities. You should be kind, empathetic and genuinely driven to improve the lives of others.
