What you can expect as a SEMH Teacher in a therapeutic setting

Teachers at this school are responsible for a high standard of planning, teaching, assessment and behaviour management for the school's students. Pupils range from the ages of 7-19 and present with significant complexity and co-morbidity linked to adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) including childhood trauma or secondary trauma linked to family marginalisation, loss of homes or relationships or pupil bullying and multiple exclusions. The school are seeking a Teaching Assistant – SEMH to provide full support to the students and help change their attitude toward learning.
