Creating a safe, nurturing learning space and building strong, trusting relationships
Setting clear learning goals and tracking academic and emotional progress
Working closely with schools, families, and wider agencies to provide a joined-up approach to support
Ideal Candidate:
Strong background in teaching or tutoring core subjects (English and/or Maths)
Experience working with students with SEND/SEMH/trauma-informed practice
Resilient, calm, and confident in managing behaviours and promoting positive engagement
Able to work independently and travel between multiple locations across Kingston and Richmond
Passionate about making education accessible and meaningful for all learners

The Role:
Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis, helping them engage positively with learning
Promoting emotional regulation, self-confidence, and appropriate social interaction
Working alongside teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to provide consistent, tailored support
De-escalating challenging situations with empathy and understanding
Creating a safe, structured, and inclusive environment for all learners
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with young people with Autism and/or SEMH
Calm, compassionate, and confident when dealing with challenging behaviours
