The school supports pupils who are unable to access mainstream education due to complex SEMH needs, often alongside Autism (ASC). You will deliver a nurture-based curriculum (KS2–KS3), prioritising emotional regulation, relationships and readiness to learn. What is it like working in a SEMH school? Every day is different. Routines help, but no two days are the same; you must be flexible and ready to adapt. Relationships come first. Success depends on building trust and consistency with students before academic progress can happen. There will be highs and lows.
