About the 1:1 SEN TA Role

The successful 1:1 SEN TA will work with an autistic boy going into year 12. He requires a supportive and nurturing 1:1 TA. The pupil has a spiky cognitive profile. He requires social and emotional support and struggles with friendships and in understanding how to make and maintain them. He is keen to strengthen his peer relationships. He has a few peers with whom he shares interests he enjoys interacting with both at school, and more recently outside of school. You will also be required to scribe as part of this role. You will have access to specialised training as this role will be within a specialist SpLD provision so anyone keen to have access to Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia training should apply!
