1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

  • Primary School - EYFS - KS1
  • Location – Hillingdon
  • Salary - £85-£90 Per Day PAYE
  • Contract - Temporary - Permanent 

Do you have experience supporting children/ young people with SEN?

Do you have experience with phonics?

Do you have experience in Speech and language?

Would you like to make a positive impact by supporting SEN pupils in KS1 both with SEN?

About the School

Here at Parker Smith Inclusion, we are working with an absolutely beautiful mainstream primary school in Hillingdon, looking for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant. The school have a strong and experienced senior leadership team who will be working closely with the successful candidate ensuring the proper support is given; the school are very passionate about the development of all teaching staff with a continuous development programme in place.

1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant requirements

  • Passionate about supporting students with SEND
  • Experience using phonics is essential
  • Ideally, the 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant would have experience using Makaton and PECs
  • Committed to personal development and learning specialist skills
  • The successful 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant should be proactive and flexible
  • The 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant should be a team player and build rapport quickly with both staff and students
  • Ideally a Graduate or someone with previous SEN experience either formal or informal
