ASD Teaching Assistant

Start Date: Immediate Start

Location: Lewisham

Pay £80-£85 PAYE

We are looking for an ASD Teaching Assistant who is looking for a new challenge. Working alongside a school that provides excellent opportunities for children with autism, the key for this school would be to ensure a happy healthy and safe environment for these children to learn, they have a special curriculum ensuring they meet the needs of all their children. They are looking for an experienced ASD Teaching Assistant to work alongside them.

The perfect ASD Teaching Assistant

  • Commitment to helping every student progress and achieve.
  • Experience in working with children with Autism/ SEN
  • Resilient and able to work well in challenging situations.
  • The ability to enthuse, inspire others, and have a ‘can-do attitude.
  • Experience working with young individuals within SEMH or SEND is excellent but is not essential.

  • Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with vulnerable students
  • Experience of working with disengaged young people is essential.
