Salary - £90-£100 per day PAYE

The School
Here at Parker Smith Inclusion, we are working with an all-boys SEMH school in East London that supports children with ASD who are unable to attend mainstream education. The children that require support are of Secondary school age. The school are looking for an ASD Teaching Assistant to join the experienced staffing team to assist a student with a diagnosis of ASD or with SEMH needs It is essential that these students have an ASD Teaching Assistant to act as a positive role model as well as good academic knowledge to provide lesson support.
The ASD Teaching Assistant
- The ASD Teaching Assistant would Ideally have experience working with ASD
- Experience ideally working in a PRU or SEMH Setting
- A good understanding of trauma and the effect this will have on students
- The ASD Teaching Assistant should be able to build relationships with both students, teachers and parents
