Are you an experienced Behaviour Mentor looking for a new challenge?

Do you have experience supporting students facing permanent exclusion?

I am working with a well-established PRU in the London Borough of Redbridge who are seeking a strong Behaviour Mentor to join their expanding team. The PRU caters for KS3 and KS4 students who have been, or are at risk of permanent exclusion from mainstream education. In addition to this, students present with additional needs such as autism, ADHD and associated learning difficulties.

The ideal Behaviour Mentor will have school experience and be very nurturing and calm but be able to set professional boundaries. The Behaviour Mentor should have experience managing challenging behaviours and feel confident in doing so.

The ability to build relationships with both colleagues and students is essential, alongside the ability to maintain pupil engagement in lesson and de-escalate/regulate emotions.
