Do you have a passion and talent for supporting children and young people with high functioning Autism and mental health disorders?

Do you have experience working with young people who are not able to attend mainstream school and have a diagnosis of Autism and a background of behavioural challenges? Are you keen to make a difference to the lives of children and young people whilst building your experience and furthering your career in SEND/SEMH?

I am actively seeking engaging and passionate Behaviour Mentors for schools that provide education to children who are unable to be educated in a mainstream school due to Autism Spectrum Condition and behaviour difficulties. I am looking to speak to professional and committed Behaviour Mentors to work in a variety of settings in East London

Even if your experience is informal/voluntary, I want to hear from you! The children you will support will have a variety of needs which can include significant complex behaviour challenges and ASC.

Behaviour Mentor requirements:

 ● Experience of working with young people with Autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties and learning difficulties or experience with SEMH, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication

● Learning Mentor/ Youth Worker experience

 ● Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships

● A passion for working with SEND is essential

What you can expect as a Behaviour Mentor:

● Excellent experience and training for aspiring Teachers, Pastoral workers, Child Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Counsellors, and Social Workers
