The role
I am looking for a wonderful, enthusiastic Care Assistant to join a school based in Hillingdon, This is an SEND school l with an excellent reputation for providing fantastic education to young people, and also taking great care of their staff! The role is to support the school’s pupils in their day to day school life.
Your day to day role would be working on a 1:1 basis, within the main classroom, ensuring the child can understand the work they are being given, and help overcome any barriers that they may face to their learning.
Your role would also consist of taking the child out for interventions outside of the classroom so that you can really support the child to the best of your ability and ultimately encourage them to achieve the best they can.
This school is also fantastic at supporting Care Assistamts that wish to pursue a school based career. Therefore, if you are an aspiring teacher, this school would be the best place for you to be to lay the foundations of your career!
This position is term time only so no more 12 hour shifts if you are currently working in a support work setting!
The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate for this role would be a care assistant looking to expand their experience within a SEN environment. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone to show their passion for SEND children and provide genuine help that can positively impact a child’s needs.
This would also suit a graduate looking to become a teacher in the future.
